Since temperature and ambient humidity directly impact pine, it is essential to allow the material to acclimate to its new environment for 48 to 72 hours before installation. Avoid long-term storage of pine in places like a basement or unheated garage, as this could compromise its quality and stability. Also, ensure doors are laid flat to prevent warping.
