Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Boiswood. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website [www.boiswood.com] and any purchase you make through it.
By accessing or using this website, or by placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.
You must be the age of majority in your province, state, or country of residence to make a purchase from our site.
You agree not to use our website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose, and not to interfere with or attempt to compromise its security, content, or services.
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, occasional errors, omissions, or typographical mistakes may occur.
Product availability may vary; some items are made to order, while others are stocked in inventory. Made-to-order or customized products are final sale, except in cases of verified defect or damage.
We reserve the right to:
Correct errors or inaccuracies without prior notice,
Modify or discontinue products, and
Limit quantities per customer, household, or order.
Orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for reasons such as suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or shipping restrictions.
Accepted Payment Methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Stripe, and PayPal.
All transactions are processed securely through third-party payment gateways. We do not store credit card details.
Payment Timing: Full payment is due at checkout. Orders will not be processed until payment is received.
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes (GST, QST, HST) and shipping fees, unless otherwise stated.
Boiswood ships primarily within Canada and the United States. Full details, including delivery times and territories, are outlined in our Shipping Policy.
Standard processing for in-stock items: 24–48 hours.
For supplier or made-to-order products, delivery timelines are specified on each product page.
For large or “hard-to-ship” products, delivery may require a scheduled appointment and signature.
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon delivery.
We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
We aim for your complete satisfaction. Our Refund Policy explains how to request a return within 30 days of receipt.
To qualify, returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Non-returnable items include:
Custom or made-to-order products,
Items with engraving or personalization,
Final-sale or discounted products, and
Products not in resalable condition.
Returns must be authorized by Boiswood before shipping. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. A 15% restocking fee may apply.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.
We currently accept orders from customers in Canada and the United States. Duties, import taxes, and customs fees (if applicable) are the buyer’s responsibility.
By ordering from outside Canada, you confirm that importing the product into your country is lawful and compliant with local regulations.
All website content, including text, graphics, product photos, logos, and designs, is the property of Boiswood or its licensors and protected under Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any portion of this website without our written permission.
If you submit comments, reviews, or creative suggestions, you grant Boiswood a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, or distribute them in any media.
You agree that your submissions will not infringe any third-party rights or contain unlawful, defamatory, or obscene content.
Our website may include links to external sites or services we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of such third-party sites. Accessing them is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boiswood, Michelena Architectural Wood Doors, and their officers, employees, or agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or products purchased through it.
This limitation does not affect your statutory rights under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act or equivalent U.S. consumer protection laws where applicable.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boiswood, Michelena Architectural Wood Doors, and their affiliates from any claim, demand, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of any law or third-party rights.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
For customers located in the United States, any disputes will be subject to the laws of Quebec, Canada, and resolved in the courts of Montreal, Quebec.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will take effect upon posting on this page.
Your continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
Terms of Sale

These terms apply to all quotations, sales orders, and invoices issued by Boiswood, a division of Michelena Architectural Wood Doors Inc., Saint-Eustache, Quebec, Canada. By confirming an order or accepting delivery, the client agrees to the following conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing by Boiswood.
These terms govern all sales of goods and services by Boiswood. Any differing or additional terms proposed by the client are expressly rejected unless accepted in writing.
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.
Prices exclude applicable taxes, shipping, and customs duties.
Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, payment is due within 21 days of the invoice date.
Payments may be made by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Stripe, cheque, or bank transfer.
Late payments may accrue interest at 10% per annum (0.83% per month) on any outstanding balance.
Boiswood reserves the right to suspend or cancel orders if payment is overdue or credit risk is suspected.
Ownership of goods transfers to the client once payment in full has been received.
Risk of loss or damage passes to the client upon delivery to the carrier or to the client’s premises, whichever occurs first.
Delivery times are provided in good faith but are estimates only.
Boiswood is not liable for delays caused by carriers, suppliers, customs, or events beyond its control.
Custom-made, engraved, or special-order items are final sale and non-refundable except in cases of manufacturing defect confirmed by Boiswood.
Any claim for defective or damaged goods must be submitted in writing to info@boiswood.com within 8 days of delivery.
Returns are accepted only with prior written authorization.
Approved returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Returned goods must be unused, in their original packaging, and shipped prepaid unless otherwise agreed.

Boiswood warrants that its products will conform to published specifications and be free from material defects at delivery.
This warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, or improper installation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boiswood’s liability is limited to the replacement or refund of the defective goods’ purchase price.
Boiswood shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
All sales are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Montreal, Quebec, to the exclusion of any other forum.
These Terms, together with the quotation, invoice, and any written amendments, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior communications.
